Monday Gift cant hide her excitement after netting the winning goal in Washington Spirits 1-0 victory over NWSL champions Orlando Pride.

It was Mondays maiden goal for Washington Spirit following her arrival from Spanish club, UD Tenerife last month.

The Nigeria international hit target on 63 minutes after capitalising on an error from goalkeeper Anna Moorehouse.

The defeat was Orlando Prides first in 22 league outings.
