Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Idah Peterside has compared the differences in the Super Eagles squad under former head coach Jose Peseiro and current interim coach Augustine Eguavoen.
Recall that Peseiro was the coach of the Super Eagles until March 2024 when he left his position upon the expiration of his contract.
The Portuguese led Nigeria to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, where they lost to Ivory Coast 2-1.
Following Peseiros exit from the Super Eagles, Finidi George was made the interim coach and was subsequently given the position permanently by the Nigeria Football Federation.
But Finidi resigned from his position after failing to record a victory in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Benin and South Africa a few months ago.
