Super Bowl Reporter's Death Leads To Arrests In New Orleans, South Florida, Authorities Say

A South Florida connection has emerged in the murder case of KC Telemundo reporter Adam Manzano, who was found dead in New Orleans while covering the Super Bowl.

Danette Colbert, 48, has been charged in connection with the 27-year-old reporter's death, Chief Keith Conley of the Kenner Police Department confirmed on Tuesday.

Authorities also announced the arrest of Rickey White, 34, who was described as a "transient," in Hollywood in connection with the case.

Conley said investigators believe Colbert and White "were working hand in hand in concert."
