State Of Emergency: Well Engage With Relevant Institutions Rivers Govt Vows

The Rivers State government has pledged to engage with relevant institutions to address the ongoing political crisis following the declaration of a state of emergency by President Bola Tinubu.

The Honorable Commissioner for Information and Communications, Warisenibo Joe Johnson, made this known in a statement issued on behalf of the state government.

Addressing the people of Rivers State, the commissioner reassured citizens of the governments commitment to upholding constitutional order and maintaining peace in the state. He emphasized that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has consistently acted within the framework of his constitutional oath and has prioritized the safety and well-being of Rivers residents.
