Standard Bank Connect Starts Selling Devices Again

Standard Bank Connect has relaunched sale of devices such as smartphones , tablets, laptops and wearables, which are available for cash or financing contracts.
The Mobile Virtual Network Operator MVNO says customers in South Africa can now buy devices from brands like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Honor, Vivo, Lenovo, HP and Mecer.

To qualify for financing, you need to have an active Standard Bank Connect SIM card. The MVNO said it does not force-bundle plans with the devices.
Customers can also get up to 50 off accessories and add-ons every month through the MVNOs Dress Your Tech collaboration.
Additionally, customers can choose an upfront cash payment or flexible financing terms of 12, 24, or 36 months. They can also reduce monthly instalment amounts by opting to pay up to 50 of the device cost as a deposit.
Prices for smartphones, tablets and laptops start from R99 per month on 36-month contracts and R259 per month for 12 months. For wearables, prices start from R39 per month for 36 months and R109 per month for 12 months. Customers can choose the once-off option on the products online portal to make a cash payment.
Standard Bank Connect, previously known as Standard Bank Mobile , first launched smartphone sales in 2019 but later discontinued the offering.
