A beautiful startThe festival kicked off on Thursday, 17 April, under clear skies, following some pre-festival rain. This weather set the stage for what would be four glorious days of sunshine and celebration in the Southern Drakensberg.
SOLD-OUT from day oneBy Thursday evening, over 5,500 attendees were already soaking up the festival atmosphere at Splashy Fen farm, achieving full capacity before the gates opened. The festivities were officially inaugurated by Cllr. T.N. Jojozi, Deputy Mayor of Harry Gwala District Municipality.
Dazzling performancesFriday and Saturday were electric, with a stellar lineup featuring local talents like Ard Matthews and Prime Circle, alongside international artists including Youngr from the UK and Casey Lowery, who delivered surprise performances. Mafikizolo and GoodLuck ended Saturday with memorable sets that had festival-goers on their feet.
