A new standard in Winelands wellness has arrived with the opening of the beautifully reimagined Spier Spa, nestled within the newly revamped Spier Hotel in Stellenbosch.

Tucked away in serene gardens of indigenous fynbos, the new Spier Spa offers a peaceful retreat from the everyday. Its tranquil courtyard, adjacent to a lush apothecary oasis, welcomes guests into a secluded space complete with an outdoor plunge pool - a perfect place to unwind and reconnect.

Open to both hotel guests and day visitors, the Spa is fast becoming the go-to wellness destination in the region. It forms part of the completely renewed Spier Hotel, which reopened in March 2025, reflecting a refreshed vision of wellness and holistic rejuvenation.

At the heart of the Spa is its signature feature: the Cape Herbal Bath House - a deeply restorative experience unique to Spier. The ritual begins with a warm exfoliation using freshly harvested snowbush and herbal salt, followed by a relaxing herbal soak wrapped in a linen cocoon, accompanied by a scalp massage. It ends with a deeply nourishing shea butter massage and a fresh farm-to-table platter paired with a glass of Spier's organic wine.

This entire journey is powered by the Spa's exclusive line of all-natural wellness products, formulated in consultation with Spier's resident phytotherapist.
