Spencer: Hard For Bvuma To Fill Kaizer Chiefs Void Left By Baloyi, Khune

Bruce Bvuma was a bright star during a dark time for Kaizer Chiefs at some points last season, thanks to his heroics between the sticks.

But such is his performance this season that even former defender Derrick Spencer is urging him to improve next term.

Bvuma has conceded 17 goals in 16 Premiership games so far, making him one of the most breached goalkeepers in the league.

That poor outcome in goal is certainly not what head coach Nasreddine Nabi and goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi had in mind when they made him the No 1.

The duo must not only have thought that he would do better than Brandon Petersen and Fiacre Ntwari, but would follow in the footsteps of some of the clubs greats.
