Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has dropped Casemiro from his starting XI to face Southampton in Saturdays early kick-off.
Casemiro was at fault for Liverpools first two goals as United lost 3-0 before the international break.
He has now been replaced by Christian Eriksen against the Saints.
Ten Hag, speaking to TNT Sports on why Eriksen is starting, said: He has had a good pre-season, in training hes had very good performances. So, he has earned a start.
On Manuel Ugarte being on the bench, Ten Hag added: Manuel, we have to integrate into the team.
