South Florida Residents Join 'hands Off!' Protests Against Trump, Musk
Forty-five protests were scheduled in Florida Saturday - with at least four in South Florida - amid a national day of rallies against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.

One of the "Hands Off!" protests was held Saturday morning at Young Circle in Hollywood. More than 1,000 people attended.
Protesters are assailing the Trump administration's moves to fire thousands of federal workers , close Social Security Administration field offices , effectively shutter entire agencies , deport immigrants , scale back protections for transgender people and cut federal funding for health programs .
One sign at the Hollywood protest also lamented "terrible tariffs" that sent the stock market into a tailspin after Trump announced them.
