South Beach is swapping surfboards for saddles this weekend as the 19th annual Beach Polo World Cup brings world-class horses and players to the sand.

The event promises an exciting blend of elegance and action, as fans gather to watch polo against the iconic Miami backdrop.
Local 10's Alexis Frazier experienced polo training firsthand and shared her initial excitement, saying, "I had the opportunity to train like a pro - but I only got the basics down. If you're interested in seeing how it's really done, this weekend is your chance."
The event kicked off Thursday with Polo Pride, but the main events run through Sunday.
