South African Rugby Stars Eye Springbok Selection As Urc Heats Up

As the United Rugby Championship prepares to resume, numerous players at the South African franchises will look to assert themselves and secure spots in Rassie Erasmus first Springbok squad of 2025.

With key international Tests against Italy and Georgia looming in July, there will be pressure on individual players as they chase to enhance their cases for national selection.

For the Sharks, one stand-out player is centre Jurenzo Julius, affectionately nicknamed The Boogieman.

Known for his dynamic attacking prowess and impressive defensive work-rate, Julius has emerged as a revelation for the Durban franchise.
