South African Open Moved To Stellenbosch Golf Club For 2026 Edition
The 115th Investec South African Open will be played at Stellenbosch Golf Club at the end of February 2026.
It will be the second time in its history that Stellenbosch Golf Club hosts the SA Open. It will also be the first time since 2009 - at Pearl Valley in Paarl - that the event is hosted in the Western Cape.
Stellenbosch Golf Club, the Cape's fourth oldest golf club, hosted the SA Open in 1999 when local favourite David Frost won the title at the club where he grew up and used to caddie for his father.
The last time Stellenbosch Golf Club hosted a professional tournament was in 2019, when Thriston Lawrence won his maiden Sunshine Tour title to win the Vodacom Origins of Golf event.
Chris van der Merwe, General Manager of Stellenbosch Golf Club, said the club was delighted to welcome the South African Open back to its fairways in the magnificent winelands of the Western Cape.
