South Africa has been ranked 40th in the list of Best Countries for 2024. This is according to a survey with 17 000 people from around the world, Cape {town} Etc reports.
T he list was released by US News World Report . The countries were ranked based on a set of 73 country criteria that are important in determining the success of a contemporary nation.
' The rankings project is based on how global perceptions define countries in terms of a number of qualitative characteristics - impressions that have the potential to drive trade, travel and investment, and can directly affect national economies. The 2024 analysis covers perceptions of 89 nations ,' said US News World Report.
A total of 73 national qualities - phrases that can be used to define a country but are also important to the success of a modern nation - were discovered. From 22 March to 23 May, a survey of various traits and nationalities was conducted around the world. Participants were asked to determine if they linked an attribute with a nation.
On the list, South Africa is ranked 40th. This is one of 89 countries in the 2024 Best Countries rankings.
