Ademola Lookman was full of excitement after claiming the 2024 CAF Mens Player of the Year gong, DAILY POST reports.
The Atalanta winger capped a remarkable year by becoming the sixth Nigerian to win the prestigious award.
Lookman started the year by helping the Super Eagles finish second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cote dIvoire.
The 27-year-old was also the star of the show as Atalanta won the UEFA Europa League in May.
The former Leicester City star scored all three goals in the final victory against Bayer Leverkusen.
