After getting crowned as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 on Saturday night, August 31, South African-born Chidimma Adetshina trended again over her crown.
Sowetos Adetshina got invited on August 9 to participate in the beauty pageant by Miss Universe Nigeria after being forced to withdraw from participating in Miss SA beauty pageant amid identity fraud allegations against her and her family.
Home affairs got involved in this matter and conducted an investigation that indicated there may have been identity fraud activities involving Adetshinas mother.
Adetshina was among 24 contestants who were chasing the Nigerian crown, representing Taraba State in the competition held at Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Victoria Island.
And just after a few days of being in the beauty pageant, Adetshina quickly led with votes that were over 10,000.
