Social Media Personality Musa Khawula Back In Court Next Tuesday

Social media personality Musa Khawula is expected back in the Randburg District Court in Johannesburg on Tuesday next week for a formal bail application.

The 33-year-old appeared in the same court yesterday facing Crimen Injuria, Contravention of the Cyber Crimes Act and Hate Speech charges.

The accused is alleged to have posted derogatory statements on social media in October last year against businessman Zee Nxumalo.

The state is opposing bail due to Khawulas pending 2022 murder case in the Western Cape and an outstanding warrant of arrest for reckless and negligent driving.
