Soccer Player Fleurs Murder Case Transferred To High Court

The case against the six men accused of the murder of Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs has been transferred to the High Court in Johannesburg.

The suspects are expected to appear on the 7th of next month.

Fleurs was fatally shot in April last year during a hijacking at a petrol station in Florida, west of Johannesburg, while waiting for service at a petrol station.

The six accused were arrested in Slovoville, Soweto, a few days later for their alleged involvement in soccer stars murder.

The families of the accused have expressed relief that the matter has now been moved to the High Court, stating that there is finally direction and progress in the case as they believe those incarcerated have no hand in the murder of the Kaizer Chiefs player.
