The Smile Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with facial abnormalities and severe burns, is once again bringing joy to young lives. This week, a team of doctors and surgeons is performing a series of operations at George Hospital in the Western Cape as part of the Mini Smile Week initiative.
Since 2007, the Smile Foundation has provided over 5,000 children with life-changing surgeries. This week, children from all over the region are receiving these transformative procedures. It's an emotional journey for the parents, moving from heartbreak to joy as they see their children smile again.
