The Sharks have confirmed that Springbok captain Siya Kolisi will return to the Durban-based franchise after his international duties.
The double World Cup-winning captain, who spent most of his career in Cape Town before heading to Durban in 2021, left for France a year ago.
Kolisi and Racing 92 mutually agreed to end their contract which paved the way for the Springbok captain to return to Durban.
He will therefore play for the Sharks in the forthcoming United Rugby Championship.
Kolisis relationship with the French club became frayed when its president, Jacky Lorenzetti, described the flank as having gained weight, lost shape and was transparent towards the latter stages of the French season.
