Sharks fullback Aphelele Fassi has scooped the 2023/24 URC Try of the Season accolade.
Fassi's virtuoso solo effort against Edinburgh in Round 13 has been voted as Try of the Season following a social media vote by URC fans, with over 5 000 votes cast. Fassi garnered double the number of votes of his nearest competition for his spectacular five-pointer.
Fassi also leads the way for metres made in the URC regular season, with an impressive 1 232 metres made, over 200 metres ahead of his nearest challenger
