Seshego Residents Expect Sona To Provide Solutions To Water Shortage

Some residents at Seshego in Polokwane, Limpopo are appealing to President Cyril Ramaphosa to address service delivery and water provision.

President Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the first Government of National Unity State of the Nation Address tonight .

Residents have grappled with a lack of water for over a decade . They say the lack of water has negatively affected their businesses and daily lives.

Residents, Ntlhane Mailula and Lehlogonolo Seopela say President Ramaphosa must come up with practical plans to address water provision.

"In other households, there are elderly people staying alone and they are forced to travel long distances to fetch water, we would like the president to tell us how and when he is going to solve water challenges in our communities because we have been promised a lot of things without any resolve," says Mailula.
