The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has announced the appointment of Pape Thiaw as the first assistant coach to Aliou Cisse.
Thiaw replaces Rgis Bogaert who departs after several years in the role as the Lions of Teranga reached back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations finals and won the 2021 edition.
Thiaw is an experienced coach who led Senegal to the 2021 African Nations Championship (CHAN) title.
