Scores of people have gathered outside the High Court in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape as judgment in the trial of televangelist, Timothy Omotoso is being handed down .

He was arrested at the Chief Dawid Stuurman Airport eight years ago and has been in custody since.

His co-accused, Lusanda Sulani and Zikiswa Sitho, are out on bail.

They all face 32 charges including rape, human trafficking and racketeering.

Members of the Azanian Peoples Organisation AZAPO and the African National Congress Womens League ANCWL have turned out in their numbers in support of the witnesses.
