Where does the Games stand in your career?

We were the first South African football team to qualify for the Olympics, so it was quite an achievement.

Personally, it was the highlight of my football career. I went on to play for big clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns, but there is nothing like representing your country on the international stage.

It was a real journey for us as a team. We had been together for many years, for some of us since our teenage years, and Shakes Mashaba really brought us together as a family, so eventually going to the Olympics together was the pinnacle.
