Sas Branden Grace Fails To Retain His Liv Golf Playing Privileges
South Africas Branden Grace has failed to retain his LIV Golf playing privileges.
Grace, a member of the South African Stinger Team since the inception of the rebel golf league, had a below par 2024-season and had to win the LIV Golf Promotion tournament at the Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia to keep his membership.
But despite successive rounds of four-under-par 67 in the final stage of promotion, the 36-year-old South Africa with 15 professional wins to his name, fell two strokes short of his goal.
He finished in a tie for second behind Max Lee of South Korea who secured the only spot available for next years LIV Golf season. Lee finished the final stage over 36-holes in 10-under-par following rounds of 64 and 68.
Meanwhile, Swedens Marcus Kinhult is the leader after the third round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek near Malelane in Mpumalanga.
