Police have confiscated 201 litres of alcohol during a clamp-down operation against unlicensed liquor outlets in Oudtshoorn on Friday, 13 September, Cape {town} Etc reports.

This operation, which forms part of ongoing high-density operations, has led to four suspects being arrested and sent to court, according to a media statement issued by the SAPS .

On Friday, members attached to the Oudtshoorn Crime Prevention Unit acted upon information on illegal activities when they conducted a sting operation at a house at Bontebok Avenue, Bridgeton, in Oudtshoorn.

The members seized 111 litres of liquor found on the premises and a 34-year-old woman was taken into custody on a charge of dealing in liquor without a licence.

Later on the same day, members executed a search and seizure warrant at a house in Thabo Mbeki Square, Bongulethu in Oudtshoorn.
