Salah Hails Liverpool's 'way Better' Title Win After Tottenham Thrashing

Mohamed Salah described Liverpool's record-equalling 20th English title as way better than their previous Premier League triumph, after scoring in the Reds' 5-1 demolition of Tottenham at a jubilant Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool's emphatic win not only sealed their first league crown since 2020 but also drew them level with Manchester United as the most successful club in English top-flight history. Under Arne Slot's leadership, the Reds now sit 15 points clear of second-placed Arsenal with just four games left to play.
Salah, who netted Liverpools fourth goal, moved into fifth place on the all-time Premier League scorers list with 185 goals. Reflecting on the achievement, the Egyptian star compared it favourably to Liverpools pandemic-era title five years ago. This is way better, 100 per cent, Salah said. Without Sadio, without Jurgen, without Bobby - without everybody it feels more special. We have a different group now, different manager, so to be able to do it again is something special.
Unlike the 2020 triumph, which occurred behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions, this time Salah and his teammates were able to celebrate in front of a raucous Anfield crowd. It is incredible to win this with our fans. Im glad we won it here, he said. Watching the Arsenal-Crystal Palace game on Wednesday, I didnt want to win it then. I wanted an experience we havent had before.
Salah's outstanding form has been a driving force in Liverpool's title push this season. The 32-year-old has netted 28 goals in 34 league games and recently ended speculation over his future by signing a contract extension.
