Salah Commits To Liverpool With New Two-year Contract

Mohamed Salah has ended months of speculation about his future by signing a new two-year contract with Premier League leaders Liverpool, the club confirmed on Friday.
The 32-year-old Egyptian forward has been a pivotal figure at Anfield since arriving from Roma in 2017. With 243 goals in 394 appearances, Salah stands as the third-highest goalscorer in Liverpool's illustrious history.
His renewed deal arrives as Liverpool close in on a record-equalling 20th English top-flight title, currently enjoying an 11-point lead with just seven games remaining in Arne Slot's first season at the helm.
Of course Im very excited, Salah said in a statement. We have a great team now. Before also we had a great team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies. Its great, I had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully its going to be 10.
So far this season, Salah has notched 27 goals and provided 17 assists in the league, playing a central role in Liverpool's title charge.
