Sacaa To Release Report Of Light Aircraft Crash In Limpopo In 30 Days

The South African Civil Aviation Authority SACAA says a preliminary report on a recent crash involving a light aircraft in Vuwani, Limpopo, will be released in 30 days time.
Three people were injured in the crash which happened on Sunday.
The aircraft which was carrying a pilot and two passengers crashed after taking off from a private airfield near Nandoni dam outside Thohoyandou. It was on its way to Louis Trichardt.
The authoritys spokesperson is Sisa Majola says, Three occupants on board in an aircraft, it was a pilot and two passengers. All three occupants did sustain serious injuries. The AIID has dispatched investigators on site to collect evidence and to prepare a preliminary report they will be published on the SACCA website within the 30 days from the day of the accident.
Meanwhile, the West Coast Airshow near Saldanha Bay in the Western Cape ended in tragedy after a small aircraft crashed on Saturday afternoon. Plumes of smoke was seen near the crash site.
