Sa Land Reform: Ramaphosa Speaks With Musk Amid Trump's Accusations

President Cyril Ramaphosa spoke with Elon Musk about misinformation regarding South Africa, following US President Donald Trump's claim that the country was confiscating land and mistreating certain groups.

This was said by the Presidency on Tuesday.

Yesterday, 3 February 2025, President CyrilRamaphosa spoke to ElonMusk on issues of misinformation and distortions about South Africa.

In the process, the President reiterated South Africas constitutionally embedded values of the respect for the rule of law, justice, fairness and equality, the Presidency said in a post on X.

On Monday, Ramaphosa clarified, in response to Trumps claims, that no land had been confiscated by the government and that the policys goal was to promote fair and inclusive access to land.
