Rick Ross To Headline Durban Music Fest In May

Durban is set to welcome international hip-hop heavyweight Rick Ross as the headline act for the Durban Music Fest on May 3 at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium.

The announcement has sparked excitement among local music fans, as major international artists often choose Cape Town or Johannesburg over Durban.

The festival boasts a diverse lineup of South African talent, including Maskandi star Khuzani, hip-hop artist Nasty C, and rapper Big Zulu. The festival is organised by Blue Screen Entertainment in partnership with the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture.

Other performers include DJ Tira, Blxckie, Dlala Thukzin, Mawhoo, Ugatsheni, Dladla Mshunqisi, Gold Max, Ntencane, Mzukulu, DJ Bongz, DJ Sox, and Intro Fam.

To uplift local artists, the festival is offering one emerging musician the chance to perform on the main stage through an exclusive giveaway.
