Residents of Soshanguve have expressed frustration at the failure of the City of Tshwane to dispatch water tankers to their area which has been without them since Wednesday.
The City has blamed Rand Water for the delays in restoring water supply after a power failure at the utilitys Palmiet Booster Pump Station.
Areas including Mabopane, Atteridgeville and Centurion are also affected.
These residents have been waiting for water for more than five hours.
Almost five days without water. All these people you are seeing here arrived at 0600. I got here at 0400 but we still havent received water. You see how long that is. We are running a car wash business, so the business is stuck. You cant flush the toilet you cant do anything without water.
