Former Rangers striker, Ally McCoist has named Declan Rice as the best player by stretch over the two legs of Arsenals UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixtures with Real Madrid.

Rice was named man of the match in the two legs of the Champions League quarter-final fixtures between Arsenal and Real Madrid.

The England international scored a brace in the first leg at Emirates Stadium last week as Arsenal won 3-0.

The 26-year-old was impressive at the Santiago Bernabeu as goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners a 2-1 win against Madrid on Wednesday.

Speaking on TNT Sports, McCoist said Rice was magnificent in both legs.
