Rashford Hints At Manchester United Exit 'ready For A New Challenge'

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has revealed he is ready for a new challenge after a long career at Old Trafford. The 27-year-old, who was omitted from last weekends derby against Manchester City, opened up in an interview on Tuesday about his future.

Rashford, who has scored 138 goals in 426 appearances since his debut in 2016, admitted he feels it's time to take the next steps in his career.

For me, personally, I think Im ready for a new challenge, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter in an interview shared on social media. When I leave, it's going to be no hard feelings. You won't hear me saying anything negative about Manchester United.

The England international has faced a dip in form over the last 18 months, resulting in him being dropped from Gareth Southgate's squad for the Euros. He also described his omission from the Manchester derby by new United coach Ruben Amorim as disheartening.

Its disappointing, Rashford admitted. But as Ive got older, I can deal with setbacks. What am I going to do about it? Sit there and cry about it? Or do my best the next time Im available.
