Ramokgopa Confident Gnu Partners Will Resolve Budget Impasse

African National Congress ANC Treasurer-General Dr. Gwen Ramokgopa says she is confident that all parties in the GNU will find each other to break the budget deadlock.

The leading party in the GNU is under pressure to decide whether to abandon the proposed VAT increase or reconsider the structure of this multi-party pact.

The ANCs delegation had concluded talks with various political parties in and outside the GNU to solve the budget deadlock but no deal has been reached.

Ramokgopa says a solution will be found in the interest of the country soon.

She spoke to the SABC in Johannesburg earlier today.
