Ramaphosa Urges Anc Members To Draw Courage From Likes Of Dullah Omar

African National Congress ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says it is important for the party to draw courage from the late former anti-apartheid activist and Minister Dullah Omar, as it embarks on its renewal path.

Ramaphosa was speaking at the wreath laying ceremony at Omars graveside in Johnson Road, Cape Town today.

The comments by Ramaphosa come ahead of the partys birthday celebrations which will take place at the Khayelitsha Stadium on Saturday.

Ramaphosa says while the ANC may have lost support in last years elections, South Africans continue to show support for the party.

The people of South Africa still love this African National Congress movement. And so as we renew ourselves and rebuild ourselves, it is for us, important to draw courage from the likes of Dullah Omar, applaud and thank him for the service that he gave to the people of South Africa and our country as a whole.
