President Cyril Ramaphosa will launch South Africas Presidency of the G20 at Parliament this morning.
Brazils President Lula da Silva handed over the presidency to Ramaphosa during a G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro last month.
South Africas leadership of the group presents a unique opportunity to shape global policies and advocate for Africas interests on the world stage.
Issues the presidency will focus on include addressing poverty, unemployment as well as Africas development.
South Africa will host the G20 under the theme - Fostering solidarity, equality, and sustainable developmen t.
