Ramaphosa Deplores The State Of Gauteng, Municipalities

President Cyril Ramaphosa has deplored the state of Gauteng and its municipalities, instructing its leaders to fix the province ahead of the G20 Summit.

He was speaking during his interaction with the provincial leadership at the Johannesburg Council Chambers in Braamfontein yesterday.

His visit is part of the District Development Model of integrated planning.

Several Cabinet ministers and their deputies as well as government officials accompanied the president on the visit.

He has urged Gauteng and the City of Johannesburg in particular to ready themselves for the meeting of the most industrialised nations, the G20 Summit later this year.
