Ralph Stanfield, an alleged boss of the 28s gang, and his alleged associate Jonathan Cloete, have been charged with the murder of Rashied Staggie, the former leader of the Hard Livings gang, in a dramatic escalation of gang-related violence, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Rashied Staggie was fatally shot on London Road, Salt River, on 13 December 2019.
The state prosecutor announced the murder as Ralph Stanfield and and his wife Nicole Johnson faced charges in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Friday morning.
In 2019 an eyewitness who spoke anonymously told the Daily Voice , that multiple shots fired at his silver Toyota Corolla parked outside his London Road home around 10am.
'They just parked the car and he was in the passenger's seat and the people who shot him parked their car up in the road. The gunman ran down the street and I think they were following them.'
