R40 Million Lotto Plus 1 Jackpot Winner Plans To 'bless Others'

Cape Town - The winner of the R40 million Lotto Plus 1 jackpot from the December 28, 2024, draw claimed their prize on January 3, 2025, according to National Lottery Ithuba.

The winner checked her ticket at a retail store in Port Elizabeth, where she was told to go to an Ithuba office, as the prize was too large for the store to pay out.

Feeling anxious, she said she kept the ticket safely wrapped in toilet paper and hidden in her diary until she could claim her prize.

"I have not been able to eat since Saturday, December 28, with excitement, the winner told National Lottery Ithuba.

She said she plans to use her fortune to bless others.
