Paris Saint-Germain PSG Women's team is reportedly in negotiations to sign talented Cameroonian forward Naomi Eto Ndjoah Leslie from Amazone FAP of Yaound, a club in the Guinness Super League. Eto has been on PSG's radar for some time, especially after her standout performance at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup, where she was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player MVP for leading Cameroon to the quarter-finals.
Eto, 19, is a nominee for the 2024 CAF Young Player of the Year, and if the move to PSG materializes, it will mark her first international experience, as she has spent her entire career in Cameroon. She has had a successful stint at FAP, scoring over 30 goals in four seasons and winning the Best Young Player award in the Guinness Super League in 2022.
Reports suggest that PSG has been in discussions with Eto and her parent club for several weeks, negotiating both the transfer fee and personal terms. Eto, who did not feature in FAP's 2-0 win over Vision Filles recently, is said to be close to finalizing the agreement. If the transfer goes through, Eto would join the growing list of Cameroonian players plying their trade in France's top-flight womens football league.
