Paris Saint-Germains Sporting Director, Luis Campos, has clarified the club's reported interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Previous reports in both local and international media suggested that the French Ligue 1 giants were looking to bring the Nigerian international back to France as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who had left for Real Madrid.
In a rare interview with Sport Italia correspondent Tancredi Palmeri , Campos dismissed the rumours, stating that PSG never made a formal offer for the Super Eagles forward despite the speculation.
"PSG never made an offer to Napoli for Osimhen," Campos confirmed.
When asked about rumours of a last-minute approach from Napoli before the transfer deadline, Campos replied, That's the market, alluding to the unpredictable nature of transfer negotiations.
