President Ramaphosa Lauds Coega Economic Zones Potential

President Cyril Ramaphosa has commended the Eastern Cape for the investment projects it has initiated to boost the economy of the province through its ports and the Coega Special Economic Zone.
Ramaphosa is on a two day oversight visit to the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.
He visited the Coega Special Economic Zone, one of the best performing SEZs in the country, having employed around 300 000 people since its inception in 1999.
Ramaphosa says there is so much potential for economic growth.
We need to exploit to a higher level and being here has given me, the ministers who have been here, the opportunity to see that we can grow our economy enormously and make South Africa a hub in as far as the oceans economy is concerned. And this being part of our ocean economy master plan, its a well-positioned and obviously we must bring a lot of investment.
