Preparations for the mass funeral of six people who were brutally killed at Godini village outside Qumbu in the Eastern Cape are underway.
It is alleged the anti-stock theft patrollers were ambushed by heavily armed assailants while having a meeting at a local school.
Six of them perished on the scene, while four others sustained injuries.
Eastern Cape Provincial Government and Local municipality have joined hands with businesspeople to provide a dignified funeral for the victims.
