Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC have moved swiftly to find Maxwell Konadus successor after appointing Yaw Preko as their new head coach.

Konadu parted ways with the Ghana Premier League club less than two weeks after beating Bofoakwe Tano on penalties in the final of the cup competition to secure their first-ever trophy.

The 51-year-old had attracted interest from Black Leopards following an impressive debut season at Nana Professor Koromansa II Park which saw him guide the team to a fourth-placed finish in the league.

Lidoda Duvha confirmed on Tuesday that they had agreed a three-year deal with Konadu and Nsoatreman wasted little time in finding his replacement.

Preko has plenty of experience in the Ghana Premier League, having previously coached Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Medeama, while he is currently in charge of the national Under-15 team.
