Power Restored After Flights Grounded At Ctia

Flights in and out of Cape Town International Airport were delayed today January 22, and in some instances cancelled, due to what ACSA said were ongoing power interruptions. FlySafair said the power interruptions had resulted in fuel pump issues.

By 17h20, ACSA said power had been restored but advised of potential delays as operations gradually returned to normal and airlines worked to accommodate the backlog of passengers.
