A 20-year-old man from Miami was arrested Wednesday after he stabbed his own brother inside their home, authorities said.
According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, Alexander Rodriguez and his brother were in the kitchen arguing around 640 p.m. when Rodriguez grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the neck.
Police said the victim ran to his bedroom and Rodriguez followed him, slashing him on the arm and face.
According to the report, Rodriguez then fled the scene through the stairwell.
Police arrived a short time later and found the victim in the hallway, holding clothing to his wounds to stop the bleeding.
