Police officers from multiple law enforcement agencies were spotted at the scene of a crash in Hollywood Friday morning that occurred during a police chase.
According to Hollywood police, officers from Hallandale Beach attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, but the driver fled the scene before the occupants of the vehicle bailed out of the car in the 2600 block of Mayo Street.
Colbert Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution as a summer camp is currently in session, authorities confirmed.
Police said two women were initially detained, but have since been released.
No arrests have been made.
