A 17-year-old boy was critically injured early Sunday night in a shooting in southwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
According to Miami-Dade police, the teen was shot, possibly multiple times, in the 1700 block of Southwest 104th Street.
Officers responded to the area around 650 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
According to authorities, officers arrived at the scene and found the injured teen.
He was transported to Jackson South Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
